I have just completed a rebuild of a 30 year old Weil McLain boiler in a five zone hydronic system. I installed a new AF burner, relined the combustion chamber, and cleaned the stack and heat exchanger. Finally I installed a HeatManager. The results are fantastic! The system efficiency improved by 23% based upon comparison of the previous years usage per degree day with the usage of the first tank of oil since the rebuild. This will save me ~$450 per year in energy costs. In addition to the efficiency, the number of burner firings has dropped considerably which I understand reduces emissions and wear on burner components. Great product! The installation was straightforward thanks to the great online training. Everyone should have one on their system.
